Urban Decay Vice 3

Hands down Urban Decay has to be one of my favourite brands and UD have released another limited edition Vice Palette.

The Vice 3 is a limited edition palette that comes in 20 new shades from blue to burgundy, all of which are stunning.  Firstly, I’m in love with the packaging. The encrusted neon green jewel writing really stands out and is something I haven’t seen before on other products. The abstract colours behind it seem to be a mix of all the shadows inside the palette and really make a palette pop! The only thing that puts me off is how fingerprints show really easily…oh well…the inside is what counts right?

As you can see, the Vice 3 comes in this palette…duh. A makeup case and a 2 sided brush- great for applying shadows and blending. The great thing about the palette is the huge mirror inside!

Okay, so let’s get to the shadows!

Truth

A nude baby pink shade with a matte finish- Felt powdery

Undone

What I like about this palette is that it has a range of matte and shimmery shades. Undone has a slight shimmer and like nearly all of the shadows in this palette, is very pigmented. This beige shade has a slight pink/peach undertone.

Downfall

DTF

Dragon

This fire green colour has a smooth velvety  texture and although a lovely colour, I found when applying to to my skin, it felt a little thin and less pigmented than I was expecting.

Freeze

Heroine

Brokedown

This is a beautiful rusty gold that would look good on any skin tone! It has a lovely velvet smooth feel and finish with a warm undertone. Probably one of my favourite shades!

Vanity

This pearly plum purple has a nice texture although a teeny tiny bit powdery.

Lucky

Wow. Lucky is by far one of the most beautiful rusty orange colours I have seen in a long time. A coppery colour which is super duper pigmented with a shimmer.

Reign

Bobby Dazzle

Isn't Bobby Dazzle just lovely? Okay..so this picture does it no justice as to how cute this shade is. A shimmery pearly white that is perfect for your tear duct area. It has a light pigmentation but I feel it's just perfect. If you have ever wondered what fairy dust looks like...its Bobby Dazzle.

Alien

This gorgeous pink has an ever so slightly bronze/peach undertone

Alchemy

Bondage

OMG BONDAGE! Super super pigmented deep aubergine that has definitely not disappointed my expectations. This colour is just so beautiful and again would look great on anyone.

Sonic

Last Sin

Last Sin is probably better applied with a wet brush to intensify the colour but still in love with it. Kind of reminds me of YKD from UD Naked 2.

Angel

Defy

This is a great matte shade for those of you who like a darker eye. It did look much better once applied to my skin but the dull grey/brownish colour I can't really see myself wearing as often. Will defo have to play around with this shade.

Revolver

Mehh...it looks okay, But once applied to the skin... BANG! (I'm sorry. I just had to). Revolver transforms into a beautiful intense charcoal colour with a cool undertone. Definitely the one to go for when you want a smokey eye.

I love the Vice 3. Its definitely a wearable palette for all skin tones and I feel like the colours range nicely from matte to shimmery to the in-between. All the colours have a velvety smooth application, although, i felt the first row from Trust to DTF are slightly more powdery- Nothing a wet brush wont fix!
